Once the quiet of the afternoon was interrupted by the flock of wild turkeys the cranes decided it was time to leave the backyard and return to their summer home in the basin. I hope I'll have a chance to see them once again before they leave for the winter.
Janis Nussbaum Senungetuk is a visual artist and art business consultant in the Madison Wisconsin area. She specializes in floral photography using the natural light of the garden setting. Her images, filled with light and vibrant, translucent colors and textures, capture the beauty and sunshine of the garden and farmers market. Her work has been honored by the City of Madison, Madison Arts Commission Signature Grant Award in 2007-2008 and by a solo exhibit in the Office of the Lt. Governor of Wisconsin, Wisconsin State Capitol, Madison, Wisconsin in 2009. Most recently, one of her images was selected for the Dane Arts 2023 calendar.
