The intoxicating fragrance of roses in full bloom met me at the entrance to the rose gardens. The luscious color of these shrub roses were the first to catch my eye.
About Janis Senungetuk
Janis Nussbaum Senungetuk is a visual artist and art business consultant in the Madison Wisconsin area. She specializes in floral photography using the natural light of the garden setting. Her images, filled with light and vibrant, translucent colors and textures, capture the beauty and sunshine of the garden and farmers market. Her work has been honored by the City of Madison, Madison Arts Commission Signature Grant Award in 2007-2008 and by a solo exhibit in the Office of the Lt. Governor of Wisconsin, Wisconsin State Capitol, Madison, Wisconsin in 2009. Most recently, one of her images was selected for the Dane Arts 2023 calendar.
